Position Summary

Kitchen Responsibilities

• Portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients for cooking.
• Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test food for sufficient cooking and monitor quality during preparation.
• Set up and break down the work station.
• Serve food in proper portions using the appropriate receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check and ensure the correct temperature of appliances and food.

Safety and Team Duties

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate professionally with others.
• Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Meet physical demands including extended standing, bending, reaching, and moving objects up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified.
• No license or certification is specified as required.
