- Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operation and work
- Work according to menu specifications by the Chef de Partie
- Keep work area in hygienic conditions according to hotel rules
- Control food stock and food cost in section
- Prepare daily mis en place and food production in different sections
- Follow instructions from immediate Superiors to complete daily tasks
- Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation
- Coordinate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control
Requirements
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course
- Previous experience in quality establishments
- Good culinary skills
- Ability to communicate in English
- Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation

Job Description
- We are seeking passionate and dynamic Kitchen professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.
- This position is based at Hala Arjaan by Rotana Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and work
- Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie
- Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
- Control food stock and food cost in his section
- Prepare the daily mis en place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course
- Previous experiences in quality establishments
- Good culinary skills
- Ability to communicate in English
- Proven track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge
