Your Day to Day

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking according to the cafeteria menu, recipes, and kitchen standards.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized food preparation areas.
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and support daily cafeteria operations.
• Maintain standards for food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Monitor inventory levels and the freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Set up and break down kitchen stations, serving areas, and equipment.
• Prepare meals according to daily requirements and expected colleague numbers.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and storage areas throughout the shift.
• Work with the cafeteria team to prepare and serve meals on time.

What We Need From You

• Previous kitchen or cafeteria experience is advantageous but not essential.
• A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work across different kitchen and cafeteria stations.
• A professional culinary qualification is preferred but not required.
