To deliver all this and more, we’re looking for a Commis Chef, open to Full Time, Part Time or Casual positions, with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavour and commitment to setting high standards from workspace to table and beyond.

Located in the Valley of The Hawkesbury River, just 45 minutes from Sydney and at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley is the ideal destination for a group getaway, romantic retreat, wedding or conference destination.

Based on 8 hectares of landscaped gardens, our comfortable, contemporary rooms and suites, as well as delicious dining options provide our guests with a diverse destination experience.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebuds
• Taking ownership for your workstation – keeping on top of supplies, equipment and waste
• Being cleaner than clean to meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws
• Helping with washing up and other kitchen duties where needed

What We need from you:

• Compliance with local laws on food handling – you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment, Hotel experience would be advantageous
• Possess great attention to detail
• Exceptional teamwork skills
• Time management skills
• A working knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures
• High standard of personal presentation
• Ongoing commitment to quality and providing a truly unique experience to our guests
• The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• You must meet the legal requirements to work in this country
