Role Overview
Join the ibis Adelaide kitchen as a Commis Chef and develop culinary skills within a world-class hotel platform.
Work as part of the kitchen team supporting multiple food service formats and meal periods.
What You Will Do
- Perform cooking, baking, pastry cooking, or butchering duties.
- Prepare and present food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, à la carte, room service, functions, and buffet service.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment while meeting product quality and presentation standards.
Experience and Skills
- Completed an apprenticeship and/or achieved trade recognition.
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-player approach.
