Role Overview

The full-time, on-site Commis Chef role is based in the Doha Metropolitan Area.

The role supports the kitchen team with ingredient preparation, supervised cooking, food quality, hygiene, stock rotation, and workstation organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes under supervision.
Maintain consistent food quality according to recipes and standards.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Assist with stock rotation and keep workstations clean and organized.
Work with senior chefs, learn new techniques, and support kitchen operations.
Collaborate with the culinary team during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Qualifications

Strong food preparation, cooking, and culinary skills are required.
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards is required.
Effective communication and teamwork are required.
Relevant culinary education or training, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
Professional kitchen experience is an advantage.
Flexible availability for weekends and holidays is required.
Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and a positive team-oriented attitude are expected.
