Position Overview

Food Preparation and Cooking

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Prepare cold foods and cook with ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test food for doneness, monitor quality, and serve correct portions in appropriate receptacles.

Kitchen Sanitation and Safety

• Set up and break down the work station and wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check and maintain correct temperatures for appliances and food.
• Follow safety and security procedures, complete training, and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.

Professional Standards

• Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect confidential information and company assets and maintain quality expectations and standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is specified.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
