Position Overview

Commis 3 role in the Food and Beverage and Culinary department at Airport Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.

Kitchen Preparation and Cooking

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
  • Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Test food for doneness and monitor quality during preparation.

Workstation and Sanitation

  • Set up and break down work stations and serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Check and ensure the correctness of appliance and food temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.

Safety and Physical Requirements

  • Follow company, safety, and security policies and complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
