Position Summary
Prepare ingredients and cook food for the main kitchen according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
Maintain food quality, kitchen hygiene, equipment temperatures, and workstation standards.
Kitchen Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare cold foods and cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test food for doneness and monitor quality during preparation.
- Set up and break down workstations and serve correct portions.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check appliance and food temperatures for correctness.
Safety and Team Responsibilities
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
