Position Overview
IntercityHotel Dubai Jaddaf Waterfront is hiring a Commis 1 – Multi-Cuisine Chef for its culinary team.
The role is in the Food and Beverage / Kitchen department and is full-time.
Location and Workplace
- The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
- Work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and senior culinary team with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare multi-cuisine dishes according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain food handling, storage, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ingredient quality, stock rotation, and waste control.
- Support buffet, à la carte, banqueting, and special event preparation.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient service.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis 1 or Commis Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of multi-cuisine food preparation and food hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
