Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and other baked goods as per standard recipes.

Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie or Pastry Sous Chef accurately and efficiently.

Ensure all mise en place is prepared and ready for service.

Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation according to hotel standards.

Support buffet setups, à la carte service, special events, and banquet functions.

Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food items following FIFO procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen at all times.

Comply strictly with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Minimize wastage and control food costs through proper handling and storage.

Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance issues immediately.

Assist in inventory checks and stock control as required.
