Role Overview
The Commi Chef supports the kitchen team with daily food preparation, cooking, and plating.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mise en place and follow recipes and guidelines from senior chefs.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Coordinate service with colleagues and respond to supervisor feedback.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and organized kitchen operation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in food preparation and cooking with developing culinary skills suitable for a professional kitchen.
- Commitment to high standards of hygiene and food safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborative work with chefs, kitchen team members, and service staff.
