Position Summary
Lead end-to-end product launches and customer implementations for a food manufacturing and private label business.
Coordinate commercialization timelines, packaging, artwork, specifications, testing, launch readiness, and customer relationships.
The role requires strong project management and customer-facing skills.
Commercialization Responsibilities
- Lead new product launches from concept through final production and customer implementation.
- Coordinate timelines, artwork approvals, packaging readiness, materials, testing, validation, and launch execution.
- Maintain launch trackers, action logs, dashboards, status reports, and commercialization documentation.
- Lead structured cadence meetings and ensure milestones, approvals, and deliverables are completed on time.
- Coordinate customer onboarding, specifications, product transitions, and customer-driven changes.
Customer and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary contact between customers and internal teams throughout commercialization and launch.
- Coordinate with Sales, QA, Production, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing teams.
- Facilitate project reviews, action tracking, implementation discussions, and customer communications.
- Identify risks, delays, bottlenecks, and communication gaps and drive resolution plans.
- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners as required.
Governance and Improvement
- Maintain structured commercialization processes and track launch timelines, customer readiness, and execution performance.
- Prepare dashboards, launch reports, implementation updates, and executive-level summaries for leadership.
- Maintain meeting minutes, specifications, SOPs, implementation records, and action trackers.
- Support standardization of commercialization workflows, governance structures, and launch processes.
- Improve communication, accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and operational scalability.
Required Experience
- At least five years of experience managing commercialization projects, customer implementations, new product launches, packaging transitions, onboarding, or launch coordination.
- Hands-on experience working directly with customers throughout commercialization and launch processes.
- Experience coordinating timelines, approvals, artwork, specifications, launch readiness, and multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, ingredient manufacturing, or private label manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Experience with stage-gate commercialization, SKU launches, packaging and artwork coordination, governance, readiness tracking, or risk management is preferred.
Compensation
- The posted salary is CAD 85,000 to CAD 105,000; the compensation cadence is not specified.
