About the Role
Retail North is seeking a commercially minded, operationally sharp Commercial Operations Executive to act as the connective tissue across sales, logistics, product management, and operations.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reports and spreadsheets covering sales, pricing, margins, and stock
- Carry out pricing analysis across products, brands, and customer segments
- Prepare small pitch decks and presentation materials for brand partners and customers
- Support commercial decision making with clear, accurate numbers
- Act as coordinator between sales, logistics, product management, and operations
- Keep projects and priorities on track in a fast paced, often unstructured environment
- Support day to day operational tasks across fulfilment, ordering, and customer queries
- Help document and improve processes as we scale
- Carry out administrative tasks within Shopify, including products, orders, collections, pricing, and reporting
- Use latest AI tools confidently as part of daily workflow
- Develop understanding of retail and clinic customers and their needs
- Participate in meetings at all levels, from routine supplier calls to senior executive discussions
Requirements
- Commercially minded with a natural feel for margins, pricing, and what makes a deal work
- Customer aware with genuine empathy for what retailers and clinics need from a distribution partner
- Operationally balanced, equally happy in a spreadsheet or on the warehouse floor
- Natural coordinator who works well across different types of teams and personalities
- Comfortable in a fast paced, unstructured environment where priorities shift
- Confident with numbers, reporting, and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Familiar with Shopify or able to pick it up quickly
- Active user of AI tools with an appetite to push what they can do for a business
- Happy doing a wide range of tasks from simple admin to senior level meetings
- Hungry, motivated, and looking for senior management exposure
- Ownership mindset: take responsibility for outcomes, not just activity

- Retail North is a UK and EU master distributor and 3PL partner for leading dry herb vaporizer brands.
- We supply more than 200 retail outlets and medical cannabis clinics across the UK and Europe.

The Role
- We are looking for a commercially minded, operationally sharp individual to become the connective tissue of our business.
- You will sit at the centre of sales, logistics, product management, and operations.
- You need to be genuinely comfortable with both strategic analysis and day to day operational tasks.
Commercial and Analytical
- Build and maintain reports and spreadsheets covering sales, pricing, margins, and stock.
- Carry out pricing analysis across products, brands, and customer segments.
- Prepare small pitch decks and presentation materials for brand partners and customers.
- Support commercial decision making with clear, accurate numbers.
Coordination and Operations
- Act as coordinator between sales, logistics, product management, and operations.
- Keep projects and priorities on track in a fast paced, often unstructured environment.
