Job Description
The role is described as Commercial Manager / Procurement Manager within Supply Chain Management.
The position covers master-file maintenance, sales-budget coordination, data transfer, order forecasting, order processing, and order monitoring.
Supply Chain Responsibilities
- Maintain master files for SKUs, distributors, lead-time events, and timing.
- Maintain distributor and supplier procurement pricing by SKU.
- Coordinate monthly and distributor-specific sales budget updates and revisions with the Sales Department.
- Update distributor stock details monthly and ensure system data accuracy.
- Forecast distributor orders by SKU to meet projected sales budgets.
- Consolidate supplier forecasts using lead times, pallet loads, container loads, seasonality, and other constraints.
- Update consolidated orders to suppliers.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and place orders.
- Ensure orders move through the order processing cycle.
- Coordinate with Finance to process invoices against back-to-back costing sheets.
- Monitor order processing stages against standard lead times.
- Liaise with suppliers to support timely execution of placed orders.
