The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial planning, commercial analysis, business partnering, and profitability initiatives across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial guidance, support commercial decision making, optimize business performance, and ensure financial objectives align with organizational growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial finance strategies, financial governance frameworks, and performance management processes aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product, and Executive Leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and financial modeling to support commercial initiatives and business growth.
  • Analyze revenue, margins, pricing, profitability, customer performance, product performance, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Develop business cases, investment appraisals, scenario analyses, and strategic recommendations for new products, services, and commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue growth, gross margin, operating profit, return on investment (ROI), pricing effectiveness, forecast accuracy, and customer profitability.
  • Support pricing strategies, contract evaluations, promotional activities, and commercial negotiations through financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • Conduct variance analysis, cost optimization initiatives, and financial performance reviews while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Establish financial controls, reporting standards, and governance processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, executive dashboards, board presentations, and performance reviews for senior leadership.
  • Drive digital finance transformation through ERP systems, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools, business intelligence platforms, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop commercial finance analysts and finance team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA are highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business partnering, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing commercial finance functions, financial planning initiatives, or cross functional finance teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, profitability analysis, financial modeling, business performance management, and commercial decision support.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar financial platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, FP&A software, business intelligence platforms, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing financial performance, commercial objectives, and organizational goals.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in remote and hybrid environments.
