Commercial Driver

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Commercial Driver to join our growing team. American Building Supply (ABS) , a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Class A Commercial Driver to assist our Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers. Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties: Make multiple routes. Provide Customer Service Build and maintain positive relationships with customers Deliver all material undamaged and on time Communicate customer service issues with operations and sales Mounted forklift experience a plus Flexible schedule (3am-6am) start times Layover flexibility Must be flexible and assist in loading and offloading product from truck/trailer Preferred Experience: Minimum of one year of Class A driving experience Knowledge of Manual transmission Clean DMV Report Current CDL license preferred Good communication skills Good paperwork accuracy Good attendance history Knowledge of millwork products a plus Other important qualifications: Positive outgoing attitude Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, goal oriented Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere Work Environment : The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations, and loud noises. Expected pay for this role is between $32.00 to $35.37 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
