Responsibilities
- Carry out underwater hull cleaning using hydraulic/cavitation brush carts and hand tools
- Perform propeller polishing using rotary discs and approved abrasives
- Execute UWILD support tasks including video and still photography
- Conduct visual inspections of hull plating, sea chests, gratings, rudder, thrusters, anodes, and rope guards
- Assist with sea chest cleaning, anode replacement, blanking, and minor underwater repairs
- Carry out pre dive equipment checks on SSDE, umbilicals, helmets, comms, and gas panels
- Follow dive plans, JSA, risk assessments, and toolbox talks; comply with permit to work systems
- Maintain accurate entries in personal dive logbook and company dive records
- Adhere strictly to IMCA/ADCI Consensus Standards, company HSE policy, port authority regulations, and client SIMOPS requirements
- Maintain dive equipment, tools, and the dive spread in clean, ready to deploy condition

- Fresher or up to 1 year experience in hull cleaning operations

Role Summary
- We are seeking certified commercial divers to join our ship husbandry team for in water services on vessels at anchorage and alongside.
- The diver will perform routine underwater hull cleaning, propeller polishing, inspections, and minor maintenance tasks in accordance with IMCA and ADCI safety standards.
- Freshers with recognised commercial dive school certification are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out underwater hull cleaning using hydraulic/cavitation brush carts and hand tools to remove marine fouling.
- Perform propeller polishing using rotary discs and approved abrasives to restore surface finish (Rupert scale grading).
- Execute UWILD (Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Drydocking) support tasks, including class approved video and still photography.
- Conduct visual inspections of hull plating, sea chests, gratings, rudder, thrusters, anodes, and rope guards; report findings with clear documentation.
- Assist with sea chest cleaning, anode replacement, blanking, and minor underwater repairs.
- Carry out pre dive equipment checks on surface supplied diving equipment (SSDE), umbilicals, helmets (Kirby Morgan or equivalent), comms, and gas panels.
- Follow dive plans, JSA, risk assessments, and toolbox talks; comply with permit to work systems.
- Maintain accurate entries in personal dive logbook and company dive records.
- Adhere strictly to IMCA/ADCI Consensus Standards, company HSE policy, port authority regulations, and client SIMOPS requirements.
- Maintain dive equipment, tools, and the dive spread in a clean, ready to deploy condition.
