- Oversee business development, client relationship management, strategic partnerships, tendering, commercial pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial governance.
- Lead identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, manage a strong pipeline of current and future projects.
- Ensure successful preparation of competitive bids and commercial proposals.
- Oversee contract administration, claims and variation management, commercial performance, and project commercial coordination.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best commercial practices.
- Develop commercial policies and procedures, prepare business plans and forecasts, monitor commercial performance.
- Lead a high performing commercial team to deliver the Company's strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of progressive commercial experience within the construction industry.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, tendering, pricing, contract management, and strategic partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial negotiations, claims management, and FIDIC principles.
- Demonstrated success in securing major projects and building long term relationships with government, semi government, and private sector clients.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary commercial teams.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
