Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Company's commercial strategy to achieve sustainable revenue growth and strengthen market position
- Oversee business development, client relationship management, strategic partnerships, tendering, commercial pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial governance
- Lead identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, manage pipeline of current and future projects
- Ensure successful preparation of competitive bids and commercial proposals
- Oversee contract administration, claims and variation management, commercial performance, and project commercial coordination
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best commercial practices
- Develop commercial policies and procedures, prepare business plans and forecasts, monitor commercial performance
- Lead and develop a high performing commercial team to deliver strategic objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of progressive commercial experience within the construction industry
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, tendering, pricing, contract management, and strategic partnerships
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial negotiations, claims management, and FIDIC principles
- Demonstrated success in securing major projects and building long term relationships with government, semi government, and private sector clients
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary commercial teams
- Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency highly desirable
- Ability to work on site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Role Description
- The Commercial Director is a full time, on site leadership role based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, reporting to the CEO.
- Responsible for developing and executing the Company's commercial strategy to achieve sustainable revenue growth and strengthen market position.
