Role Overview
The Commercial Director will lead revenue generation, commercial strategy, sales performance, business development and market expansion.
The role works with executive leadership, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Product to maximize commercial performance and sustainable growth.
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute commercial strategy aligned with organizational growth plans.
- Lead Sales, Business Development, Account Management and commercial functions against revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify markets, customer segments, offerings, partnerships and revenue opportunities.
- Develop market expansion and go-to-market strategies.
Growth and Partnerships
- Build relationships with key customers, partners, distributors, investors and senior stakeholders.
- Lead high-value negotiations covering pricing, contracts, commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee opportunity identification, customer acquisition, account growth, cross-selling, upselling and channel development.
- Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, alliances and other commercial growth opportunities.
