Role Scope
The role covers contract administration, cost control, variations and claims, subcontract procurement, and final accounts.
The manager leads commercial negotiations with clients, main contractors, and consultants.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and manage commercial matters in construction or specialist subcontracting.
- Control project costs and manage variations and claims.
- Lead commercial negotiations with clients, main contractors, and consultants.
- Manage subcontract procurement and final accounts.
Experience
- At least 10 years of commercial or contracts management experience in construction or specialist subcontracting.
- At least five years of experience in the UAE or GCC.
Technical Qualifications
- Strong command of FIDIC Red, Yellow, and Silver Book forms and UAE contracting practice.
- Demonstrated capability in variations, Extension of Time, and cost claims.
- Proficiency in measurement using CESMM4 or NRM.
- Proficiency in CostX, Candy, or similar quantity surveying software.
- Fluent English.
