Role Overview
UM CONSEIL is seeking a commercially minded, analytical, and detail-driven Commercial Assistant, Procurement Coordinator, or Commercial Specialist.
The junior-to-mid level role supports commercial operations, contract administration, procurement coordination, vendor execution, and spend controls.
Responsibilities
- Review commercial proposals and assist with contract negotiations.
- Track vendor SLAs, delivery milestones, project spend, and budget variances.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Maintain contract repositories and vendor database records.
- Resolve commercial disputes, billing discrepancies, missing deliverables, and pricing issues.
- Evaluate vendor performance metrics and coordinate with internal teams, legal, finance, and external vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Commercial Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Practical understanding of commercial agreements, procurement contracts, Statements of Work, payment terms, and SLAs.
- Experience with requisitions, purchase orders, receipt tracking, and three-way invoice matching support.
- Knowledge of market research, RFPs or RFQs, supplier evaluation, and pricing negotiations.
