About the Role
UB Brima Logistics & Travels Ltd seeks a Commercial/Pricing/Revenue Analyst for a contract, remote role. The analyst will support data-driven commercial decisions, analyze pricing and revenue data, build financial models, and prepare reports.

Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing and revenue data
- Build and maintain financial and commercial models
- Evaluate margins, profitability, and customer segments
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management
- Identify opportunities to optimize pricing and revenue
- Support development of commercial strategies for Pan African logistics and travel services
- Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and customer service teams
- Assist with forecasting, scenario analysis, and monitoring key performance indicators
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills including data analysis, quantitative modeling, and attention to detail
- Commercial skills related to pricing, market analysis, and revenue optimization
- Finance skills such as understanding financial statements, cost structures, and profitability metrics
- Communication skills to present insights clearly and collaborate effectively
- Customer service awareness to understand client needs and support commercial proposals
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; BI tools an advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solutions oriented approach

Role Description
- Contract, remote role responsible for supporting data driven commercial decisions
- Day to day tasks include analyzing pricing and revenue data, building and maintaining financial and commercial models, and evaluating margins, profitability, and customer segments
- Involves preparing reports and dashboards for management, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing and revenue, and supporting development of commercial strategies for Pan African logistics and travel services
- Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and customer service teams to validate assumptions, refine pricing policies, and improve overall commercial performance
- Assist with forecasting, scenario analysis, and monitoring key performance indicators
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills including data analysis, quantitative modeling, and attention to detail
- Commercial skills related to pricing, market analysis, and revenue optimization
- Finance skills such as understanding financial statements, cost structures, and profitability metrics
- Communication skills to present insights clearly, prepare concise reports, and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
- Customer Service awareness to understand client needs, support commercial proposals, and contribute to long term relationship building
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; experience with BI tools is an advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in logistics, travel, or Pan African trade environments is beneficial
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solutions oriented approach
