Commercial Analyst (email)

We employ over 1,000 people from 70 countries across 2 sites in Manchester city centre. We are now looking for a Senior Email Marketing Executive to help with development and delivery of ½ billion emails annually and globally.

The Role:

The Commercial Analyst is an integral member of the Email Marketing team - collaborating with market managers to understand business trends, providing insight, aiding critical decisions, as well as highlighting opportunities and risks to the management team.

Utilising your understanding of the Email team’s performance and direction, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance team to prepare realistic and challenging budgets along with strategic initiatives.

You will need to have strong business acumen, and enjoy the challenge of commanding large and complex datasets. You will have a proven capability of extracting relevant and accurate data from various sources, being able to model and present this in easy to follow and maintain formats.

Essential Functions:

Write complex SQL queries to extract and join data across multiple databases.

Advanced Excel skills including VBA, Power Pivot, data connections and a practical knowledge of a wide range of functions and nested statements.

Design and develop detailed reports using Excel and other reporting tools (Tableau)

Strong analytical skills and business acumen, performing detailed analysis from identification through to solution utilising complex datasets.
