Milk River is only a 27 minute drive from Writing on Stone Provincial Park, housing the largest concentration of petroglyphs in North America and an astonishing landscape. The Milk River Health Centre is staffed with an experienced team of laboratory and x-ray professionals that offer strong patient focused service to their community. As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. You will work as a member of the inter-professional team and be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs and reporting results. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, venipuncture and micropuncture, routine equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies and performing quality control procedures as required.
