Position Overview
Join the culinary team as a Cold Kitchen Commis Chef.
The position is based in Abu Dhabi, Island UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present salads, appetizers, canapés, sandwiches, and other cold food items.
- Prepare food for buffet and à la carte service.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure mise en place and smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Manage storage, labeling, temperature control, and FIFO practices.
- Work closely with the culinary team for efficient service.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in cold kitchen or garde manger work.
- Good knowledge of salads, appetizers, canapés, and sandwiches.
- Experience in buffet and à la carte operations.
- Good understanding of HACCP and food safety.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,400–1,600 per month.
