Role Description
- Design and deliver engaging coding lessons for children using age appropriate tools and programming concepts.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions and guide students through hands on projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with Edoxi’s academic team to continuously improve course content.
- Communicate with parents or guardians when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Stay current with educational best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of basic programming concepts and languages used in kids’ coding (Scratch, block based coding, or introductory Python).
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or training children or adolescents.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Comfort with educational technology and digital tools.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related field.
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Prior experience in STEM education, coding bootcamps, or after school tech programs preferred.
Pay
- QAR 35.00 QAR 50.00 per hour
