Key skills for this role
You’ll work alongside our CODEC and Engineering teams to support the development and optimization of the technology that processes holographic content.
Develop and test compression and decompression algorithms for holographic data
Support the optimization of CODECs for speed, efficiency, and visual quality
Analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve data processing
Test and validate CODEC functionality across different conditions and workloads
Collaborate with Engineering teams to integrate CODEC solutions into our holographic display systems
Debug and troubleshoot software, algorithms, and system-level issues
Document technical workflows, testing results, and findings
Research and explore new approaches to compression, data processing, and performance optimization
Contribute to special projects supporting the development of our holographic technology
Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related co-op post-secondary degree program.
Experience with or a strong interest in software development, algorithms, and data processing.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ and Python is an asset.
Strong interest in performance optimization and solving complex technical problems
Naturally curious and motivated to research, experiment, and figure things out independently.
Comfortable taking ownership of projects and running with ideas from concept through execution.
Confident working with direction but without requiring constant step-by-step instruction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
