- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications in coating inspection (e.g., NACE, FROSIO, or equivalent) are a significant advantage
- Prior experience in pipeline or large scale infrastructure projects is preferred
- Ability to work in on site conditions and adapt to challenging environments

- China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd (Tanzania) is a contractor for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project, a major infrastructure initiative to construct and operate an underground, cross border pipeline to transport crude oil for export.
Role Description
- The Coating Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the proper application and quality assurance of protective coatings used in pipeline construction as part of the EACOP Project.
- Key tasks include inspecting coating materials, verifying their adherence to design specifications, and conducting assessments during surface preparation and application processes.
- The role also involves documenting inspection findings and collaborating with construction teams to address any discrepancies.
