About the Role
Berwick Academy seeks a Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach to assist in planning and directing the conditioning, training, and performance of student athletes. The role involves coaching, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to league rules.

- Plan coaching and practice sessions
- Coach team members individually and in groups, and demonstrate game techniques
- Develop and implement game strategy and position assignments
- Oversee the strength and conditioning programs for student athletes
- Ensure adherence to all NEPSAC & EIL rules and regulations/policies
- Be a mentor, both in baseball and life
- Build positive relationships with all members of the Berwick Academy community
- Build a program that gives students an experience they will take with them for the rest of their lives

Job Description
- The Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach at Berwick Academy is responsible for assisting the planning and directing the conditioning, training, and performance of our student athletes for our Varsity & JV Baseball program.
- This position reports to the Head Varsity Baseball Coach and the Director of Athletics.
- This assistant coaching position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of NEPSAC and Eastern Independent League.
Duties
- Assist in the overall planning and execution of the Varsity & JV Baseball program.
- Monitor and maintain the discipline and conduct of student athletes.
- Plan coaching and practice sessions.
- Coach team members individually and in groups, and demonstrate game techniques.
- Develop and implement game strategy and position assignments.
- Oversee the strength and conditioning programs for student athletes.
- Ensure adherence to all NEPSAC & EIL rules and regulations/policies.
