Haseel is building an AI-native financial operating system for small businesses and freelancers across MENA.
The product helps businesses manage contracts and invoices, track outstanding payments, follow up with clients, understand responses, and manage collections.
The long-term vision includes payments, cash-flow intelligence, financial automation, and connections to financial infrastructure.
Opportunity
Haseel has built its MVP and is seeking a Co-founder & CTO to take ownership of the technology at the earliest stage.
This is a technical co-founder opportunity with significant autonomy over the product, architecture, technology strategy, and major product and business decisions.
What you will do
- Define and lead Haseel's technical vision and architecture.
- Build and evolve the core SaaS platform.
- Design scalable backend systems and financial data infrastructure.
- Build AI- and LLM-powered workflows and intelligent financial agents.
- Develop automation and decision-making systems.
- Integrate external platforms, payment providers, banking infrastructure, and future financial APIs.
- Build secure systems for sensitive financial and business data.
- Establish engineering standards, infrastructure, testing, and deployment processes.
- Make key technical and product decisions in an ambiguous environment.
- Eventually build and lead the engineering team.
- Work with the founder on product, strategy, fundraising, and company building.
What we are looking for
- Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience.
- Experience building and shipping real-world products.
- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture.
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure and databases.
- Hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, APIs, or agentic systems.
- Experience integrating third-party platforms and APIs.
- Strong understanding of security and scalable systems.
- Ability to move quickly and build with limited resources.
- Strong product thinking and business curiosity.
- Willingness to take ownership rather than wait for instructions.
- FinTech and SaaS experience is a plus but not required.
