Role overview

Finance operations

• Provide reconciliation and customer-status feedback to the Credit Controller.
• Coordinate balance confirmations with the Credit Controller, CAM, Sales team, and customers.
• Prepare reconciliations for assigned customers, identify variances, and facilitate closure.
• Maintain retrievable reconciliation records and prepare summaries for regional sales and finance teams.
• Follow up on payment variances, including unpaid or short-paid invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and stale items.
• Monitor collection schedules and report customer payment delays.
• Follow up on collection-agency and insurance cases involving receivable balances.
• Maintain summaries of customer LTA terms, balance confirmations, and fixed incentives.

Control execution

• Understand control objectives and document test-script attributes as necessary.
• Evaluate control effectiveness through quarterly or ad hoc testing.
• Maintain an audit trail sufficient for independent third-party re-performance.
• Remediate control deficiencies and provide verification results as necessary.

Qualifications

• A degree in Finance or part-qualified ACA, CPA, or ACMA is required.
• At least five years of core finance experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with SD software modules is required.
• Knowledge of S2C cycles is required.
• High initiative, analytical thinking, relationship-building, interpersonal, supervisory, and computer-literacy skills are required.
