Role Purpose
Lead the provision, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of CNS infrastructure platforms.
Ensure a secure, resilient, and high-availability environment supporting safe air navigation operations.
Deliver and manage CNS infrastructure in compliance with architecture, cybersecurity, regulatory, KPI, budget, and policy requirements.
Infrastructure Engineering
- Lead engineering planning, feasibility assessments, technology planning, and infrastructure optimization for current and future operational requirements.
- Translate approved architecture designs into detailed engineering plans and implementation priorities.
- Develop and periodically update CNS infrastructure manuals, technical procedures, and engineering practices.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities involving scalability, resilience, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
Configuration, Delivery, and Integration
- Develop and maintain configuration management practices, baselines, and technical documentation.
- Control, document, and maintain configuration changes throughout the infrastructure engineering lifecycle.
- Lead implementation and integration plans based on approved HLDs, LLDs, architecture standards, and project requirements.
- Validate implementation readiness and monitor technical dependencies and deliverables.
- Lead reviews of FAT, SAT, commissioning, and technical handover readiness.
- Facilitate technical audits for infrastructure implementation and compliance.
Infrastructure Lifecycle Management
- Lead capacity planning, technology refresh, lifecycle optimization, and technology obsolescence management.
- Develop lifecycle strategies supporting long-term availability, scalability, resilience, and sustainability.
- Evaluate lifecycle performance and recommend modernization, upgrade, and replacement initiatives.
- Lead investment planning, cost estimation, vendor technical evaluations, procurement planning, PR and PO activities, and vendor coordination.
Policies and Continuous Improvement
- Monitor day-to-day activities for compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and adoption of leading practices.
People Management
- Participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates.
- Provide direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor workflow.
- Promote a high-performance working environment aligned with organizational values.
Knowledge and Experience
- At least 6 years of experience in CNS architecture or a related field is required.
Education and Certifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Technical certification in CNS/ATM systems or network/server administration is required.
