Job summary
A CNC Operator is responsible for cutting and processing material by operation of CNC machines such as Saw/Drill Beam Line, Plasma Machine & Burn Table, and Plate Processor machine according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have 3-plus years of CNC machine experience.
Responsibilities
- Operating CNC machines.
- Produce quality parts in conformity to project drawings and specifications.
- Operate machinery according to manufacturers’ guidelines and company policy.
- Set up and run projects in the most effective and efficient manner.
- Verify measurements of cut material.
- Review project specifications to determine machine setup procedure, machine sequencing, and dimensions are accurate.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Maintain equipment by greasing and oiling equipment daily.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Willingness to provide assistance wherever assistance may be needed.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
