Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our Windsor Tooling team as a:
CNC Operator
Reporting to the CNC Supervisor, the CNC Operator is responsible for the set up and machining of steel, optimizing precision and quality. The CNC Operator will work in a collaborative environment and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing work as assigned by the CNC Supervisor.
- Completing daily line-ups.
- Have tooling ready for pre-made cutter paths.
- Job set up, tool changes, and manual operation as required.
- Setting up and machining surfaces on plastic injection molds.
- Using precision measuring equipment for quality and accuracy.
- Assisting in designated cutter paths as necessary.
- Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement Activities.
- Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
- Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
