Role purpose
Join the Events and Exhibitions production team in Dubai as a CNC Operator.
Operate CNC machines and use technical drawings, AutoCAD files, and SketchUp models to deliver accurate, high-quality components.
Department and location
- The role is part of the Production and Workshop department.
- The position is based in Dubai, UAE, in a workshop production environment.
What you will do
- Operate CNC machines according to approved drawings, cutting files, and production requirements.
- Read technical drawings, AutoCAD layouts, and SketchUp models.
- Review dimensions, material specifications, and cutting requirements before production.
- Set up machines, tools, materials, and operating parameters for each job.
- Check material type, thickness, and quantity before cutting.
- Inspect finished components against quality standards and required dimensions.
- Optimize cutting layouts to minimize material waste.
- Monitor machine performance and report faults or abnormalities immediately.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain CNC tools, cutters, and related equipment.
- Label and organize completed components and record production output, material usage, and wastage when required.
