- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and/or manual lathes and mills.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders .
- Perform program edits , machine offsets, and tool changes as needed.
- Ensure all parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements using precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to improve part quality and process efficiency.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, following all safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality inspectors to resolve technical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation .
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T , and machining instructions.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and materials .
- Proven track record of producing high-quality, tight-tolerance parts .
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement .
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
- Follow Company safety rules.
- Report the absence of or defect in any protective equipment or clothing to the Supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
