CNC Machine Operator

HAYDEN Diamond Bit Industries Ltd. specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of diamond coring bits and other diamond products for the world’s mining and exploration industry.

We are seeking for CNC Machine Operators in Richmond, BC.

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for following and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure high-quality machining.

This role requires adherence to specified guidelines and active participation in improving the process through feedback and collaboration with the Quality Department.

• Execute CNC machining operations according to works orders and ensure that all duties and tasks are performed according to safety and quality standards together with SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Set up and operate CNC Machines (CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Band Saw machine) according to production schedules and specifications.
• Interpret and understand technical drawings, and specifications to determine production methods and machining processes
• Monitor machine operations, ensuring parts meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (digital calipers and thread gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and achieve production goals.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment, tooling or quality issues to the Lead Hand or CNC Machining Team.
• Perform general housekeeping, keeping work area clean.
• Any other duties required by leadhand.
