CNC Machine Operator

Ability to operate all CNC equipment including, but not limited to, laser, press brakes, lathe, mill and plasma
Performs set-ups & operates various types of machinery, including but not limited to, saws, shear, punch presses, cold saws, reamers, tube shearer, axle machines, cross tie press, drill press, and stake machine
Ensure quality of product by meeting engineering specifications
Other mechanical assembly as instructed/trained
Ability to program machines to execute functions
Advanced troubleshooting of equipment and part configuration to ensure quality compliance with no assistance
Other duties as assigned
Mentor entry level Machine Operators on equipment and quality control of product
Able to pass pre-employment math and measurement test
Ability to read mechanical drawings preferred
Ability to operate hand tools required
Understanding of angles and the use of a protractor preferred
Ability to read calibration equipment including but not limited to micrometers and calipers preferred
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience running a CNC press brank and/or fiber optics laser preferred
Post high school machining, CNC, or related certification/degree preferred
Must be able to read and write in the English language
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required
Able to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals required
Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16” required
Basic keyboarding skills including printing documents
