About the Role
Ochsner Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work collaboratively in maintaining patient safety and delivering basic patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities
- Support the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the patient care area
- Provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to patient ages
- Communicate patient care needs effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete documentation of patient related tasks
- Adapt behavior to specific patient population including privacy and communication style
Requirements
- Current state CNA certification
- BLS from AHA within 30 days of hire
- CPI within 30 days of hire
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Hospital and telemetry experience preferred

Job Overview
