Partner with various operations (machining, forging and heat treating) to inspect parts and dies using a wide range of gauges and inspection devices.
Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.
Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications
Record inspection or test data and quantities inspected
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Analyze test data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results
Operates mobile equipment and must maintain physical requirements to for mobile equipment certification
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Must be able to learn and follow company procedures and work instructions.
Maintains a safe and organized workstation; follows all company policies and procedures.
