Cluster Assistant Sales Manager

Job Summary

Education and Experience

• A two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, plus two years of related sales and marketing experience.
• Alternatively, a four-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with no work experience required.

Building Successful Relationships

• Coordinate sales efforts with off-property sales channels.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
• Participate in sales calls, entertainment, familiarization trips, and trade shows.
• Develop community relationships to strengthen and expand the customer base.
• Assist with managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Provide accurate and effective turnover to Event Management.

Managing Sales Activities

• Participate in sales calls to acquire new business or close business.
• Support operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts.
