We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Storage Engineering expert to join our dynamic infrastructure team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our cloud storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
This role requires a deep understanding of cloud storage solutions, data management, and cloud security practices.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience with carve-out projects, involving the separation and migration of IT infrastructure and services during corporate divestitures or acquisitions.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud storage solutions across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc.).
Monitor cloud storage performance, availability, and usage to ensure optimal operation.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud storage systems.
Optimize cloud storage configurations for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
Develop and execute strategies for data lifecycle management, including archiving and deletion policies.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate storage solutions with other cloud services.

Provide expert-level support for cloud storage-related issues, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain documentation, including procedures, policies, and best practices for cloud storage management.
Guide and be point of escalation for storage support team (in run-mode).
Lead and manage the cloud storage aspects of carve-out project, ensuring smooth separation and migration of data and services.
Develop and execute detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk assessments for carve-out initiatives.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimal disruption during the carve-out process.
Address and resolve any technical challenges related to cloud storage during corporate divestitures or acquisitions.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud storage technologies.
Evaluate and recommend new cloud storage solutions and services to improve overall efficiency and performance.
Work closely with development teams to understand storage requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud & on-premise storage management or related field.
Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
Experience with cloud storage and on-premise storage technologies (e.g., S3, Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, NetApp).
Demonstrated experience in managing carve-out projects, including data migration and IT separation.
Experience in developing automation for storage processes using Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow etc.
In-depth knowledge of cloud storage architecture, data management, and security practices.
Proficiency in cloud management tools and services.
Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization as it relates to cloud storage.
