Role Overview

The Cloud Solutions Analyst provides operational support, planning, and engineering for the Canadian Cancer Society's Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.

The role supports collaboration, automation, low-code solutions, and responsible AI adoption to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience.

The analyst contributes to Azure modernization, Microsoft 365 optimization, and automation-driven improvements.

Cloud and SaaS Operations

  • Administer Azure cloud services and infrastructure, including identity, access, and security controls.
  • Develop, implement, and support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint team sites.
  • Configure and support selected SaaS platforms, including tenant configuration, integrations, access controls, and ongoing operational support.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft business applications and cloud services.

Automation and Power Platform

  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using Power Automate and integrate flows with Microsoft and third-party systems.
  • Build and enhance Power Apps Canvas and basic Model-Driven solutions for internal teams.
  • Apply automation governance, error handling, documentation, and performance optimization practices.
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of automation solutions.

AI and Copilot

  • Support Microsoft Copilot adoption across Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Create, configure, and maintain Copilot Studio agents, including knowledge sources, topics, conversation flows, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Promote responsible AI practices and collaborate with stakeholders to identify safe and valuable AI use cases.
  • Provide documentation and user guidance for Copilot and AI-enabled tools.

Support and Improvement

  • Resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests, including complex Microsoft 365 issues involving SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams, Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dynamics.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and identify enhancements that improve reliability, security, and user experience.
  • Provide advice, knowledge sharing, informal training, and project support across cloud, automation, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent education, certifications, and experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation, Azure and Entra ID, cloud and SaaS administration, and basic to intermediate PowerShell.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI technologies, AI agents, chatbots, or similar automation solutions.
  • Understanding of low-code development, cloud security, identity and access management, Zero Trust, and enterprise AI.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, organizational, and time management skills.
  • French and English bilingualism is highly preferred, with French considered an asset.

Work Model

  • The position uses a hybrid work model and may be based in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Halifax, St. John's, Kelowna, or Prince George.

Salary Band

  • The position is assigned to salary band 6 with a stated range of CAD 70,000 to CAD 81,000; the pay cadence is not specified.
