Role overview
Cloud Applications Software Intern supporting front-end, customer-facing cloud application services for Shure products.
The twelve-week summer 2027 internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students.
Workplace
- This internship is hybrid in Niles, Illinois.
- Shure offers work arrangements ranging from onsite internships to fully remote roles in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cloud software for managing Shure devices and supporting system functionality.
- Specify software components for Shure systems and collaborate on audio products and technologies.
- Estimate, organize, and document tasks while applying maintainable software development practices.
- Use UML and use cases to model designs and real-time system behavior.
- Review peer designs and code.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud and serverless software development, with AWS preferred.
- Programming experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Front-end experience with Angular or a similar framework.
