Role Overview
Two Cloud Security & Encryption Specialists are sought for a resident cybersecurity team supporting a leading government entity in Riyadh.
The role is on-site and focuses on monitoring and improving cloud security, compliance, encryption, and data protection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud environments for compliance with approved security policies, standards, and architecture requirements.
- Review the security posture of virtual machines, storage, databases, and platform services.
- Investigate unauthorized access, exposed services, policy violations, and other cloud security alerts.
- Review CSPM findings and drive remediation with cloud operations teams.
- Detect shadow IT and unauthorized cloud deployments and maintain cloud asset inventory visibility.
- Assess third-party services and integrations against cloud security requirements.
- Ensure sensitive data is encrypted at rest and in transit according to approved standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with CSPM and cloud-native security tooling.
- Solid knowledge of encryption standards and data protection controls.
