About the Role

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, and related services to meet operational requirements
- Implement and maintain secure identity, access management, and network configurations using IAM, VPC, and security best practices
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools
- Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to streamline operational tasks and enhance system reliability
- Ensure robust security practices are implemented and adhered to across all AWS deployments
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands on experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure in a production environment
- Proficiency in AWS core services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and VPC with a focus on security and scalability
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation for automated deployments
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python to automate operational tasks and support system maintenance
- Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring system performance and troubleshooting operational issues
- Understanding of network fundamentals, security best practices, and compliance requirements in cloud environments
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity with strong communication and documentation skills

Role Overview
- We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an AWS Engineer to work on a contract basis.
- In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to support the training of next generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, and related services to meet operational requirements.
