Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized psychometric tools, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations.
  • Formulate referral questions and select appropriate psychological assessment measures based on presenting concerns and clinical needs.
  • Analyze assessment data to develop accurate clinical formulations, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive, and evidence based psychological reports for multidisciplinary teams, patients, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop individualized care plans and treatment recommendations based on assessment findings and clinical outcomes.
  • Design and implement personalized, evidence based treatment plans utilizing therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other appropriate psychotherapeutic modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluation and modify treatment interventions to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive, ethical, and patient centered psychological care while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Facilitate individual, group, family, and psychoeducational therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with fertility specialists, genetic counselors, and other healthcare professionals to provide compassionate psychological support and ensure the empathetic communication of complex or sensitive information, particularly in fertility (IVF) settings.
  • Support patients in understanding the psychological and emotional implications of adverse findings, facilitating informed decision making and effective risk communication.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, case conferences, and clinical discussions to promote integrated, collaborative patient care.
