About the TeamThe Day Surgery Unit plays a critical role in supporting Mackay Base Hospital in achieving National Elective Surgery Targets (NEST) and delivering a safe and efficient elective surgery pathway for all consumers within the MHHS district, ensuring appropriate preparation and coordination of elective surgical patients.About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,500 staff.
